Artist's statement

To me photography has always been an expression of poetry, my personal way to express my emotions, my feelings and my sensations. My images are strongly connected to my way of being and to the exact moment I'm living. This is their common thread.

The "Beyond" series is relatively new, but it has roots that are very far in time, roots that originate from the time I was a child. When my special connection with the sea started. At school in a language writted test i wrote: "I found myself in front of the sea and I felt veru lonely". Maybe this simple sentence is representing perfectly the spirit of this series.
